Senior Expert Performance Controlling & Financial planning (m/w/d)

Location

Garching near Munich.

YOUR TASKS

  • Independent participation in the preparation, analysis and interpretation of group-wide performance reports (including deviation analyses and recommendations for action) for management and financial investors

  • Support in the preparation of the annual budget, interim forecasts and medium-term financial planning

  • Collaboration on the monthly financial statements in close coordination with Group Accounting

  • Analysis and evaluation of investment projects, tracking of planned targets and financial risks, and operational responsibility for the CAPEX approval process

  • Continuous development of existing control systems, key performance indicators and reporting.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in business administration, finance, controlling or a comparable field of study

  • Several years of professional experience in investment controlling, financial planning or a comparable role – ideally in a company with a private equity structure or a management consultancy in the field of transaction services

  • Very good analytical and conceptual skills and a high degree of attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex issues in a way that is understandable to different target groups – especially in the private equity and banking environment

  • Very good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, experience with BI and ERP systems is an advantage

  • Independent, structured working style and a strong creative drive

  • Business fluent written and spoken German and English.
